The Du Roc Crips (3x), or Duroc Crips are primarily an American-American street gang founded in the “low-end” of Duarte, between California and Mountain avenues south of Duarte Road. The Du Roc Crips has expanded their territory into the “high-end” of Monrovia, between the 210 freeway and downtown Monrovia, CA. The Du Roc Crips claims trays (3x) aligning themselves with all Gangster Crips, and are one of the largest crip gang in the San Gabriel Valley. The Du Roc Crips made headlines with the tragic shooting of Samantha Salas in 2008, Which led to a gang injuction being filed against the Du Roc Crips and the Monrovia Nuevo VarrioAllies include: Altadena Blocc Crips, Eight Tray Gangster CripsMad Ass Gangster Crips, and Trouble Gangster CripsMain rivals are the Monrovia Nuevo Varrio and Duarte Eastside all three gangs share the same neighborhood, which contributed to the racial tension and resulted in multiple gang related shootings. Other rivals include: Pasadena Denver Lane Bloods, Altadena Denver Lane BloodsDuarte East Side, Monrovia Nuevo Varrio, and the Azusa 13.

“The Latino gang Duarte Eastside and the black gang Duroc Crips generations-long feud escalated to a several-weeks war during March and April of 2003 with four separate gunbattles and one death. Caught in the mayhem was football star Dennis Weathersby, who was shot — but survived — days before he was picked by the Cincinnati Bengals in the NFL draft.
