The 43 Gangster Crips (43GC) also known as the 4-Tray Gangster Crips are an active African-American street gang located on the East Side of South Los Angeles, California. The 4-Tray Gangster Crips were established by former member’s of the East Side Crips, and originated from the Eight Tray Gangster Crips in the 1970’s.
The 4-Tray Gangster Crips consist of two cliques the South Side 43 Gangster Crips and the East Side 43 Gangster Crips. The South Side 4-Tray Gangster Crips are located around Alameda Street and Washington Blvd. The 43 Gangster Crips falls under the Gangster Crips (3x) umbrella.
Allies & Rivals
The 4-Tray have an alliance with the 40s Gangster Crips; 42 Gangster Crips aka 4-Deuce Gangster Crips and the 48 Gangster Crips aka 4-Eight Gangster Crips. They also have an alliance with 87 Gangster Crips and the 97 Gangster Crips. Despite, the 4-Tray Gangster Crips being apart of the Gangster Crips (3x) card.
They are known for forming alliance’s with gangs under the Neighborhood and Rollin Os, as well as the Deuce (2x) card. Which are considered rivals to the Gangster Crips (3x), these alliance’s is forbidden in the world of gangs, especially in the 1970 and the 1980s. However, today its common to see these type of alliance’s to fight enemies.
The 4-Tray Gangster Crips and the Avalon 40s Crips, have one of the longest standing feud in the history of gangs, similar to the feud between the Eight Tray Gangster Crips and the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips. The 4-Trays and the 40s Avalon’s, have been feuding for over forty years.
This feud between the two gangs, was featured on A&E Television Show LA Gang Wars: The Peace Maker; Ep. 4 Bullets, Guns And Violence. Which was an attempt to resonate peace between the two warring gangs. However, the show underestimated the level of hatred between the two rival gangs and failed to make an impact.
Other rivals include: 52 Broadway Gangster Crips, Rollin 20s Outlaw Bloods, BloodStone Villans, Pueblos Bishop Bloods, and 53 Avalon Gangster Bloods.
