Rollin 30s Original Harlem Crips

The Rollin 30s Original Harlem Crips (OHO) also known as the Dirt Gang, are an active African-American multi-generational street gang located on the West Side around the Jefferson Park region of South Los Angeles, California. Their history dates back as far as the 1960s, making them one of the longest standing Crip neighborhood in Los Angeles. Which, runs from Jefferson Blvd to Martin Luther King Blvd, between Crenshaw Blvd and Normandie Ave.

The Rollin 30s Harlem Crips formerly known as the Harlem Godfathers, consist of several cliques such as 35th Street, 37th Street, 39th Street, Avenues, and Denker Park. The Harlem 30S Crips are considered the third largest crip gang in Los Angeles, behind the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips. The Rollin 30s Original Harlem Crips falls under the Rollin 0’s umbrella.

The Rollin 30s Harlem Crips are known to sport Texas Rangers and Texas Longhorns baseball caps with the logo letter “T” to represent “30s.” Law enforcement estimates there are between 700 and 1,000 active members of the Rollin 30s Crips. They can be found in different parts of the world such as New York and Harlem as well as Belize.

News

In 2010, the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips, made the news by being responsible for over 1,000 burglaries throughout the Los Angeles County. Antonio Baldwin aka Jackie Boy (rapper), who was featured on Rep Yo Set (compilation CD), were arrested in Van Nuys, CA. Antonio Baldwin is described by law enforcement as a leader of the Harlm Crips burglary crews (Knock Knock Burglars).

In Aug, 2013 over 800 hundred law enforcement officers and agents served dozens of arrest and search warrants in Operation Thumbs Down, an 18-month investigation that targeted members and associates of the Rollin’ 30s Harlem Crips, a South Los Angeles street gang that ranks among the Los Angeles Police Department’s top targeted street gangs.

The investigation was dubbed “Thumbs Down” by the task force in reference to hand gestures used by this gang, including two thumbs pointed upward, representing the “H” in the word “Harlem.”

Entertainment

Lil Keke Loco (rapper), is one of the first rapper from the Rollin 30s Harlem Crips (39th Street), to create a strong street buzz thru his True Blue Trilogy (albums). Keke Loco is the founder of N.O.T.S. (Niggas Off The Street), a rap group consisting of several crips members from Rollin 30s Harlem Crips, East Coast Crips, Paramount Gundry Blocc Crips, and Holmes Street Crips (Watts).

Allies And Rivals

The Rollin 30s are allies of all Rollin Os (Crips) and most Neighborhood Crips. However, they had a short-lived fued with the Rollin 40s Crips. Other allies include the Grape Street Crips, 4-Tray Gangster Crips, Bacc Street Crips (Watts), Holmes Street Watts Crips, Paramount Gundry Blocc Crips, East Coast Crips, and the Rollin 100s.

The Rollin 30s Harlem Crips have been feuding with the Rollin 20s Neighborhood Bloods since the 1980s. This feud is was of the most violent conflict on the west side of South Los Angeles, between Bloods and Crips. Unfortunately, this feud has claimed over a dozen lives of youths, who are gang affiliated. The rivalry between the Rollin 30s Crips and the Rollin 20s Bloods, is discussed in Terrell C Wright (Home Of Body Bags) book.

Terrell C Wright also known on the streets as Loko, was an active member of the Rollin 20s neighborhood Bloods, who later turned author of Revelations of an Ordinary Childhood (2006) and Home Of Body Bag (2007). The Rollin 30s Harlem Crips second main blood rival are the Black P Stones, who are located on the west side in the Baldwin Village projects known as the Jungles.

Rivals include: Rollin 20s NeighborHood Blood, Black P Stones, Van Ness Gangster Brims, Fruit Town Brims, Harvard Park Brims, Hoover Criminals, Rollin 40s, Front Street Watts Crips, Trouble Gangster Crips, 43 Gangster Crips, Rollin 30’s Blood Stone Piru, Outlaw 20s Bloods, School Yard Crips, Bounty Hunter Bloods, and all Compton Pirus.
