The Playboy Crips (PBG) also known as the Playboy Gangster Crips (PBGC) are a long-standing African-American street gang located on the West Side of Los Angeles, California. The Playboy Gangster Crips have been active for over thirty years, and falls under the Gangster Crips (3x) umbrella. Their neighborhood spread from Pico Blvd, between La Clenega Blvd and Hauser Blvd.
The Playboy Gangster Crips have a bitter rivalry with the Mansfield Gangster Crips. Which, resulted in several gang-related shootings and innocent bystanders being shot. This rivalry was featured on The Peacemaker (VH1 TV show), with members from both sides (Playboy Crips and Mansfield Crips) attempting to settle their difference’s. However, they still remain rival enemies.
Mr. Teardrop also known as Teardrop (rapper), who debuted in the 1990s. Teardrop released I Got My Baby (album) along with two singles “3 Stikes” and “Ghetto Child,” as well as several music videos. Mr. Teardrop is affiliated with the Playboy Gangster Crips.

On may 21, 2013, the Playboy Gangster Crips made headlines when Hopeton Parsley and Kevin Dwayne Green (Baby Skull), both active member’s of the Playboy Gangster Crips, who was accused of shooting and killing Oscar “Choirboy” Duncan (R&B singer/youth pastor), who was gunned down outside his mother’s house in Venice, CA. The shooting took place in the Oakwood neighborhood claimed by the Venice Shoreline Crips.
On October 26, 1987, the city attorney and the LAPD obtained a more extensive gang injunction against the Playboy Gangster Crips. The suit was the first to attempt to prohibit gang members from wearing gang clothing and associating with one another. The boundaries of the injunction were broadly defined as anywhere within the City of Los Angeles. The American Civil Liberties Union challenged the injunction, which led a judge to reduce its scope to a few blocks and strike certain controversial prohibitions.
