The Graveyard Crips (GYC) also known as the Graveyard Gangster Crips (GYGC), are primarily an American-American street gang located on the West Side of Santa Monica, California. Their neighborhood is located behind the Woodlawn Cemetery, which is at Pico Boulevard and 14th Street, across from the Santa Monica, community college. The Graveyard Crips falls under the Gangster Crips (3x) umbrella.
In 2009, the Santa Monica Police Department (SMPD) led a 12 month investigation dubbed “Operation Tombstone” due to a homicide that took place in the previous year. The homicide investigation included wiretaps, narcotics investigations, and stakeouts. Which resulted in several search warrants, 14 arrest, including 4 members of the Santa Monica 13 street gang.

The westside Graveyard Crips and the Venice Shoreline Crips are neighbor gangs, who often feud with each other. However, these two gangs share common enemies in the Santa Monica/Venice/Culver City, area. Mutual enemies are: Santa Monica 13, Culver City Boyz, Sotel 13 and the Venice 13.
