By Yourself Hustler Crips (BYHC), also known as the Selfish Gang as well as the By Yourself Gangster Crips (BYGC), due to their affiliation with the Gangster Crips are primarily as an African-American street gang based on the West Side of Los Angeles, California.
They were very active throughout the 1990s, with cliques and subsets in the Faircrest Heights, Miracle Mile and in the Palms area of L.A. They fall under the Hustler Crips umbrella, which include gangs such as the Hard Time Hustler Crips and the Eastside Hustler Crips.

On August 25, 1993, 20-year-old Philip Woldemariam, an active member of the By Yourself Hustler Crips was gunned down by the bodyguard of famous recording artist Snoop Doggy Dogg (born Calvin Cordozar Broadus). However, the rapper and his former bodyguard were acquitted of murder charges by a jury, in 1996.

The By Yourself Hustler Crips past allies consisted of the 43 Gangster Crips and the 42 Gangster Crips (40 Gangster Crips. Their rivals include the Venice Shoreline Crips and the Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips as well as the Blastin Fools Gangster Crips, a street gang located in West Los Angeles.
