The North Highlands Gangster Crips (NHGC), also known as the North Highlands Crips (NHC) are a large criminal street organization based in North Highlands, Sacramento County, California. Bloods are the predominant Black gang in Sacramento. However, in North Highlands the Crips are the dominant Black gang.
The North Highlands Gangster Crips consist of several aligned street gangs and cliques, such as the A Street (AST) also known as the A-Blocc. Members of this clique are known to sport baseball caps of the Oakland Athletics (A’s), a professional baseball team. Hollow Tip (rapper), who debuted in the 1990s, is affiated with the A Street North Highlands Gangster Crips.
TNA (Tearing Niggas Apart) and the Monk Mobb. Which originated as neutral independent gangs, but later emerged as subsets of the North Highlands Gangster Crips. In 2009, members of the Monk Mobb and the TNA Gang were convicted of a Halloween party shooting, that left a 24-year-old man dead.
Allies And Rivals
The North Highlands Gangster Crips are allies of the Valley Hi Gangster Crips and the Polk Street Boys as well as the Garden Blocc Crips, based in Sacramento, California. Rivals include the Beast Mob (Bloods) and the Del Paso Heights Bloods.

Dear North Highlands,
Get educated. Take pride in your community. Make a change. Do you really want to continue to live in a place considered to be the ‘ghetto’ of Sacramento? Prostitution, gangs, violence, graphitti…it’s no wonder why businesses are struggling there. No businesses = no jobs = no economic growth or improvements for the area.
