The Ward Lane Compton Crips (WLCC) are a small primarily African-American street gang, located on the east side of Compton, California. Their neighborhood is situated East of Long Beach Blvd, between Compton Blvd and Alondra Blvd. Directly east of the South Side Compton Crips and west of the Holly Hood Pirus.
Their cliques consist of the 400 Blocc, 500 Blocc, 800 Blocc, and various other small cliques. They are named after a residential street called “Ward Ave,” between Essay Avenue and Bullis Rd. The Ward Lane’s have been active for over twenty years. They mainly have conflict with Piru gangs on the east side of Compton, Calfornia.
Allies include: Duccy Hood Compton Crips, South Side Compton Crips, Nutty Blocc Compton Crips, Front Hood Compton Crips, and Atlantic Drive Compton Crips.
Rivals include: All Compton Pirus (P-Funk Ridas) such as Holly Hood Pirus, Lueders Park Piru, Mob Piru, Elm Street Piru, Lime Hood Piru, and Cross Atlantic Piru.
Crip rivals: Poccet Hood Compton Crips, Neighborhood Compton Crips, Santana Blocc Compton Crips, Mexican rival gangs: Compton Varrio Tortilla Flats, Compton Varrio 70’s, and the Compton Varrio Largo 36.
