Bloods & Crips was a (duet rap group) project formed in 90’s by Tweedy Bird Loc, Redrum 781 and Ronnie Phillips. They had a huge impact in the 1990s, the Bloods rapped on the “B-Side” and The Crips rapped on the “C-Side.” They released their debut album called (Bangin On Wax) in 1993.
The Bloods consist of Redrum 781 (Avenue Piru Gang) (APG), Bloody Mary (RIP), Lil Stretch (Bounty Hunter Bloods), Big Wy (Crensaw Mafia Bloods), Suga Buga AKA Dogg (Weirdos Gangster Bloods) and Lil Leak aka CK (Avenue Piru Gang).
The Crips consist of Tweedy Bird Loc aka BK (Kelly Park Compton Crips), Sin Loc (Kelly Park Compton Crips), (Awol), Do or Die (Neighborhood Compton Crips), C-Note (Rollin 20’s Crips), Gangsta Bone (Atlantic Drive Compton Crips),
B.G. Scarface (Atlantic Drive Compton Crip’s), Troll Loc (Kelly Park Compton Crips), Genuine Draft (Rollin 20s Crips) Blue Rag (Neighborhood Compton Crips), Crip Inch (Kelly Park Compton Crips), and Duv Mac (Insane Crips).
Bangin on Wax released three Singles and Three Videos “Bangin on Wax” which is a collaboration single between both groups (Bloods & Crips), “Piru Love” is the second single by The Bloods, and “Steady Dippin” is the third single by The Crips. The album went certified gold, selling over 500,000 copies worldwide.
Bangin’ on Wax 2… The Saga Continues
Bangin’ on Wax 2… The Saga Continues is the second and final album from the Bloods & Crips (Rap Group), new blood members was recruited for this projects Lil Hawk (Crenshaw Mafia Bloods), B-Brazy (Dever Lanes Bloods), Batman (Mad Swan Bloods), Laniak, Green Eyes (Inglewood Family Bloods), G-Pops, and Yank (Bounty Hunter Bloods).
New recruited Crip members: Bronco (Fudge Town Mafia Crips), Troll Loc (Kelly Park Compton Crips), Cixx Pac (Watts Franklin Square Crips), Rider J (Atlantic Drive Compton Crips), Big Freeze (Watts Franklin Square Crips), K-Tone (Kelly Park Compton Crips), Trouble Loc – (Playboy Hustler Crips).
There was two singles and two music video’s released “G’s & Loc’s” and “Wish You Were Here” the Bloods & Crips Bangin’ on Wax 2… The Saga Continues sold 400,000 copies on September 12, 1994. The group disbanded in 1999, both groups released solo albums. The Bloods became the “Damu Ridas” and The Crips became the “Nationwide Rip Ridaz”
