Their neighborhood runs from Central Avenue to Wilmington, between Greenleaf and Alondra Blvd. They are west of the ATF Gangs and east of the Lantana Blocc Compton Crips. Member’s are known to sport “New York Yankees” article of clothing, or Apparel with the letters of “NY” which represent “Nutty“.
Their main cliques consist of 166th Street and 165th Street, between Hillford Street and Northwood Ave. Their documented hangout is the Grandee Apartments, which is located on the Grandee Ave, inside their territory. The Nutty Blocc Crips was featured on Rep Yo Set (compilation album/DVD), which is a project by Republe Reords.
The Nutty Blocc Crips received national notability when BG Knocc Out & Gangsta Dreasta (half-brothers), both affiliated with the Nutty Blocc Compton Crips) debuted on Eazy-E single “Real Muthaphukkin G’s” in 1993. In 1995, B.G. Knocc Out and Dresta released their debut album Real Brothas, which spawned three singles 50/50 Luv, Jealousy, and D.P.G./K. However, BG Knocc Out was sentenced to 10 to 12 years in prison for attempted murder in 1998.
Allies include: South Side Compton Crips, Atlantic Drive Compton Crips, Original Front Hood Compton Crips and the Original Swamps Compton Crips.
