Q102 East Coast Crips

The Q102 East Coast Crips are an African-American street gang located on the East Side of South Los Angeles, California. The Q102 East Coast Crips originated around 102nd Street, between San Pedro Ave and Avalon Blvd. They falls under the East Coast Crips umbrella and are affiliated with the Neighborhood Crips (2xDeuce) card.

In The News

In 2007, Derrick Adams Willie and Daniel Christopher Brown, both are known member’s of the Q102 East Coast Crips, were charged with attempted robbery along with several other charges as well. On March 3, 2006, Derrick Adams Willie and Daniel Christopher Brown, both wearing ski-masks armed with high-powered-military assault rifles, attempted to rob an armor truck.

Once the armor truck, carrying more than 30 million dollars arrived at Farmers & Merchant Bank, located in Long Beach, California. Brown and Adams, draw down pointing rifles at one of the three armored truck guards. However, Brown were shot three times in the stomach by one of the guards. While, Willie fled in a near-by van, accompanied by a third man (getaway driver). All three were sentenced to life in prison.

Allies & Rivals

The Q102 East Coast Crips are allies of all East Coast Crips and Neighborhood Crips along with gangs under the Hard Time Hustler Crips brand. The Q102 East Coast Crips and the Grape Street Crips (Watts) shared a close relationship. However, in 2008, member’s of both were involved in an altercation that turned violence, followed by gunplay.

Their main blood rivals are the Denver Lane Bloods and the Bebop Watts Bloods along with the Crenshaw Mafia Gang. The Q102 East Coast Crips are known to feud with crips as well, such as the 98 Main Street Mafia Crips and the Eight Tray Gangster Crips and more recently the Grape Street Crips,
