Lil Hawk aka Red Ridin Hood (Born Bobby Williams Feb 23, 1973), is an American rapper from the West Side of Inglewood, California. Hawk made his debut and was considered one of the most popular member of the Bloods & Crips (rap group), second to B Brazy. Lil Hawk is recognized by his relaxed vocals style, similar to Snoop Dogg (rapper).

Lil Hawk, was affiated with the Crenshaw Mafia Gangster Bloods, a known criminal street gang, located in the city of Inglewood, in an area known by local residents as “Bottomsville” or the “Bottoms.”  Lil Hawk also has Bottomsville tattoed on his neck, which represent this section of Inglewood.

Bloods & Crips/Damu Ridas

Lil Hawk made his first appearance on Bloods & Crips “Bangin On Wax… The Saga Continues,”  with fellow members Big Wy (CMG) with Rudrum 781 (APG), Evil Pat (MSB), Tip Toe (CMG),  Pimp D (CMG), Spyder aka S.P (CMG), and O.G Mad Eye (CMG). Lil Hawk is known for having the most songs (solo) out of all the members of the Bloods & Crips and the Damu Ridas.

Lil Hawk was also a key figure in the Damu Ridas (Rap Group). Lil Hawk and Big Wy are regarded as one of the first to associate the term “Woop Woop” with Bloods, on a song called “Mafia Lane.” Hawk caught a murder case and is incarcerated serving  25 to life, he is also a member of the Inglewood Crensaw Mafia Gang.

Lil Hawk and B-Brazy collaborated on several songs such as: Comin Str8 from the brains, Mafia Lane, 2 Famous B Dogs and many more. Big Wy made a dedication and tribute song to Lil Hawk called “Free Lil Hawk.” Red Ridin Hood, made his first video appearance on G’s And Loc’s, Damu Ride, and Wish You Was Here.

  8. Bottomz m bred, some people don’t kare what Lil Hawk got loCKed up for some of us whom live in L.A kounty,Inglewood,South bentral ect just kared about his musik. I liked how he flowed with ease,finesse and skill. With that being said i’ve read a lot of diffrent storys on how he got there like (He pointed a gun at a kop,he killed 3 rips,he got kaught in a drug raid or sellin drugs to a kop but thats all bullshit. A MURDER TOOK PLACE THERE WAS AN EYEWITNESS THAT BASICALLY SAYS THAT HE DROVE RIGHT INTO THIS INCIDENT, AS IT WAS UNFOLDING. THERE WERE TWO OTHER PASSENGERS IN THE CAR WITH HIM, A HUSBAND AND A WIFE. THE WIFE SAT IN THE BACK SEAT AND THE WITNESS WHO WAS THE DRIVER, HAD DROPPED OFF HIS 2 PASSENGERS AND RETURNED TO WHAT WAS NOW A CRIME SCENE. AT THIS TIME THE INFORMED THE POLICE OF WHAT HE SAW. HE SAID AS HE WAS DRIVING DOWN THE STREET,HE HEAR SEVERAL SHOTS AND AS HE CONTINUED TO DRIVE, HE NOTICED SOME ACTIVITY UP AHEAD. HE SAID HE SAW 2 SHOOTERS, CHASING THE VICTIM DOWN SHOOTING AT HIM AND HE SAID THAT HE ALSO SAW A THIRD PERSON IN A GET A “GET AWAY CAR”. HE TOLD THE POLICE THAT HE BELIEVED THAT HE COULD POSITIVELY IDENTIFY THE SHOOTERS IF HE EVER SAW THE AGAIN. ME PERSONALLY, I WAS NOT A SUSPECT, BUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD I GREW UP IN WAS A SUSPECT IN GENERAL. THE POLICE GOT TOGETHER A FEW DAYS LATER WITH THE WITNESS WHILE IT WAS STILL FRESH ON HIS MIND TO GO OVER SOME PHOTOS AND POSSIBLE SUSPECTS. MY PHOTO WAS INCLUDED IN THIS LINE-UP. THIS WITNESS STATED ON RECORD THAT HE DID NOT SEE ANYONE THAT LOOKED LIKE THE SUSPECTS, INCLUDING MYSELF. THE POLICE THEN CONTACTED HIS PASSENGER THAT WAS IN THE FRONT SEAT AND SHOWED HIM THE SAME PHOTOS INCLUDING MINE AND HE WAS ALSO UNABLE TO ID THE SUSPECTS.BETWEEN THAT TIME AND A YEAR LATER, ALL TYPES OF NAMES WERE POPPING UP AS BEING POSSIBLE SUSPECTS AND EACHTIME SOMEONE’S NAME CAME UP, THE VICTIM’S MOTHER WOULD CALL THE CASE DETECTIVE WITH AN UPDATE ON WHAT SHE HEARD. A YEAR (NOW TWO) LATER A 14YR OLD WAS AT A PARTY WITH THE VICTIMS NIECE THE YOUNG MAN TELLS THE NIECE THAT HE THINK HE KNOWS WHO KILLED HER UNCLE. IN THIS CONVERSATION THE NAME “LIL HAWK” WAS STATED AS THE SHOOTER. MY NAME “LIL HAWK” BECAME VERY POPULAR YEARS PRIOR TO THIS INCIDENT DUE TO THE UNDERGROUND MUSIC AND VIDEOS THAT I MADE. WHEN THE VICTIMS MOTHER GOT WIND OF THE INFORMATION, SHE IMMEDIATELY CONTACTED THE DETECTIVE TO INFORM THEM OF WHAT HER NIECE WAS TOLD. THE POLICE WASTED NO TIME AND PUT UP A 50,000.00 REWARD FOR A CONVICTION. THE POLICE THEN CONTACTED THE 14YR OLD WHO IMPLICATED MY NAME AND WHEN WAS ASKED , HE (THE 14YR OLD) STATED THAT HE NEVER SAIS THAT. WELL, A MONTH LATER HIS SAME YOUNG MAN WENT TO JAIL ON A ROBBERY CHARGE. THIS PUT THE WHEELS IN MOTION FOR JUSTICE TO TURN A BLIND EYE! ALL OF A SUDDEN, THIS YOUNG MAN PAINTS THIS PICTURE TO THE POLICE OF HOW HE WAS WITH THE VICTIM WHEN THE MURDER HAPPEN AND THAT MYSELF (LIL HAWK) WAS INVOLVED. FROM POLICE REPORTS AND TESTIMONY IT IS A FACT THAT THIS CRIME TOOK PLACE AT 10:45PM AND TWO SHOOTERS ON FOOT COMMITTED THIS CRIME, YET THE 14YR OLD STATES THAT IT WAS 7:30PM WHEN HE SAW ME PULL UP WITH A PASSENGER IN MY CAR AND THE PASSENGER SAID SOMETHING TO THE VICTIM, LET OF ONE SHOT HITTING THE VICTIM AND WE DROVE OFF. IN THIS STATEMENT HE ALSO GAVE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT LOCATION FROM WHERE THE MURDER OCCURED. HE WAS WILLING TO DO OR SAY ANYTHING TO GET OUT OF JAIL FOR WHAT HE WAS BEING HELD ON….ROBBERY! THE NEXT MOVE THE POLICE MADE WAS TO GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL WITNESS (THE DRIVER) WITH THIS 50,000.00 REWARD, THIS GAVE THE “WITNESS” A MEMORY OF ME BEING THE ONE THAT COMMITTED THIS MURDER. BOTH THE ORIGINAL WITNESS AND THE 14YR OLD, FOR PERSONAL GAIN AND MOTIVES CHANGED THEIR STORIES DRAMATICALLY. DUE TO THE FACT, LIKE MOST, I WAS NOT FINANCIALLY STABLE DURING THE TIME OF MY TRIAL, I HAD TO TAKE WHAT I WAS APPOINTED WHICH WAS A PUBLIC DEFENDER. SHE DID ALL BUT DEFENDED ME. WITH THESE BRIEF FACTS STATED I’VE GIVEN THE CALIFORNIA CORRECTIONS SYSTEM 13YRS OF MY LIFE, WHICH IS ONE YEAR SHORT OF THE AGE OF THE YOUNG MAN THAT SET THESE WHEELS IN ACTION. BOBBY WANTED THOSE WORDS SHARED WITH EVERYONE, PLEASE STAY POSTED I (MOMMA MAFIA) AM IN THE PROCESS ON ESTABLISHING A FUND WHERE ANY AND ALL DONATIONS WIL BE ACCEPTED. THIS FUND WILL BE USES ONLY TO SECURE AN EXPERIENCED LAWYER. BOBBY WILL AGAIN BE FIGHTING FOR A LIFE OF FREEDOM IN A RE-TRIAL. Despite, the Bloods & Crips, impact on the music industry most websites feel these artist’s lack notability for individual articles (until they pass away such as Bloody Mary and B-Brazy).
