The Original Front Hood Compton Crips (OFHCC) are an African-American street gang on the West Side of Compton. They are  west of the Poccet Hood Compton Crips, and East of the West Side Piru. Their neighborhood spread from W 130th St to 138th Street. Wilmington Ave to the Compton Creek acts as their borderline.

The Front Hoods are legendary for operating and running several drug houses. 134th Street was Notorious for distribution and  sells of phencyclidine (Sherm) throughout the 1980s – 1990s. Other main streets are 133rd Street and 130th Street.

Allies And Rivals

They also shared an alliance with the Front Street Crips in Watts, California. This alliance was known as “F Or Death” throughout the 1980s and the 1990s. Other allies include: Nutty Blocc Compton Crips, Park Village Compton Crips, South Side Compton Crips, Atlantic Drive Crips, and the Ward Lne Compton Crips.

Rivals include: West Side Piru. Fruit Town PiruCarver Park Compton Crips (truce) and the Cedar Block Pirus. The Original Front Hood Compton Crips and the Original Poccet Hood Compton Crips, were close allies for over thirty years. The “Original” in their name, represented their close alliance.

However, decades of friendship shattered after a member of the Corner Poccet Crips, allegedly shot an OG from Front Hood Crips. This incident turn two allies into bitter rivalries, similar to the Eight Tray Gangster Crips and the Rollin 60 Crips fallout.
